Join Legal Services of North Florida, the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee, Florida State University's College of Law, and the Tallahassee Bar Association on May 6, 2025, for our annual Law Day Celebration! Each May, communities across the nation observe Law Day, a tradition established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1958 to celebrate the role of law in our democracy. As part of this national recognition, our local Law Day Celebration honors the dedication of attorneys and judges within Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit, recognizing their commitment to justice and public service.

This year’s theme, “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One,” will be woven throughout the program, featuring insightful speakers and meaningful discussions. As a highlight of the event, attorneys who have dedicated their time to pro bono service will be honored with a special challenge coin, recognizing their invaluable contributions to our community. These legal professionals make a real difference in the lives of low-income and vulnerable individuals, and we gather to celebrate their impact.
